REAL TRENDS VISION GROUP

An event hosted only once approximately every twelve years. The Real Trends Vision Group is made up of top executives from some of the nation’s and world’s largest real estate firms. The group gathers twice a year to perform an intense four-day company review for a chosen brokerage. 2018 marked only Iowa Realty’s second review since the inception of the group. This gathering also consisted of less intensive activities with goals to feature some of the best food, drink and entertainment Des Moines, and Iowa, has to offer.

2018 Vision Group Information Booklet || The holy grail to any company review this group performs. The Vision Group Booklet called for a 132-page design that contained all company information including its history, organizational charts, office overviews, department overviews, financials, local industry data, market data, schedules, agendas, and more. The design required collaboration from office managers, department heads, executive level staff, accounting team and marketing team - it proved so successful that the brokerage chosen to be reviewed at the succeeding meeting reached out to us for templates. Color us flattered!

Presentation Design || Collaborated with Iowa Realty President and HomeServices of Iowa CEO to create a presentation using a custom designed Powerpoint layout.

Stine Barn Reception || Of all receptions and dinners to take place over the four-day review, this was the most prestigious. This dinner was hosted at “The Barn” which is venue owned by the Stine Family who are founders of Stine Seeds, the world's largest private seed company. The Venue’s exposed cabin-like structure spoke for itself, and decor was kept minimal and warmed only with stunning floral arrangements from Pepperharrow Farm out of Winterset, Iowa. The star of the reception was the food and drink prepared by local restaurant Table 128 Bistro + Bar, multi-time winners of the Des Moines “Restaurateurs of the Year” award and lead by Chef Lynn Pritchard, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. The menu featured 4 courses of farm-to-table inspired dishes with locally sourced ingredients.

“The Barn” || Video: Amanda Trudell || Located on a 40-acre estate in the heart of West Des Moines - not your average location for a barn, but breathtaking to say the least. The property includes walking paths that encompass the home, ponds and barn. For many Vision Group attendees, this was a scene out of a movie as they have never seen, “so much green space in their lives,” as many hail from large cities across the nation. A talking point was the large stone fireplace as well as a dinning table mounted on a stone boulder, as the property caretaker informed us the rock came from a mountain owned by the Stines … yes, they owned a mountain, so of course the members of the Vision Group had a new goal to strive for.

Group & Individual Task Management || As the event coordinator for such an undertaking, it meant communicating and directing numerous individuals to ensure task completion and complete organization. This chart represents all groups and individuals that were lead by myself through the span of this event.
